Here guests are invited to learn to dive on Magnetic Island, one of the best value places in Australia, go koala spotting on a bush walk, sea kayak around the island or horse ride bare back on the beach. The base offers excellent value for money. It has on-site dive shop.
When arriving at Nelly Bay Harbour turn left, past the supermarket. Then drive along the road next to the beach, and will see the resort at the end of the stretch.
The base bars offer nightly entertainment, big events and parties on tap - seven nights a week. From full moon parties to toga parties, quiz nights to cheesy nights and everything in between.

Located on the Magnetic Island, only minutes by car from the ferry landing, the base is 20 min away by ferry from Townsville. It is a pleasant island with good beaches and a lot of wildlife and is claimed to be the only backpackers on the beach in Australia.
